The excitement is building at our house.  Dave and I are leaving on Sunday for a 3-week adventure.  We both love Maine.  We first traveled there in 1995 when Christopher and Elizabeth were just 11 and 7 years old.  That trip was with our neighbors, Al and Denise Lampman and their daughter, Kelsey.  We were both traveling in pop-up trailers.  It was a memorable trip--filled with images that still make us smile.  We went back to Maine, without the kids, five years ago for our 25th wedding anniversary.  We stayed in a wonderful cottage called Sprucy located on Spruce Head Island.  This tiny spot is near Rockland and Camden about 90 miles north of Acadia National Park.  Dave surprised me a couple of months ago when he said, "How would you feel about going back to Sprucy this September?"
